Frederique Constant Junior © Ladies: Girls in the spotlight...

Swiss watch manufacturer Frédérique Constant is pleased to present the new Junior Ladies Collection, dedicated to young girls, and aged 12 to 16.

[[MORE]] After the confounding success of the Frédérique Constant Junior Collection© launched in 2010 and designed for boys, the Geneva-based brand has now developed the new accessory that every young girl dreams of. A genuine Swiss watch that resembles the design of her mother's Frederique Constant Delight timepiece. Thanks to the accessible positioning with an unrivaled price/quality ratio, young girls will be able to choose their first Swiss watch from three variations, all youthful and feminine.

The caseback of each Frederique Constant Junior Ladies watch has been designed to be able to engrave a personal message. Whatever the occasion: a birthday, a bat mitzvah or a communion, any message can be engraved.
With a delicately polished steel case of 26mm diameter, all models are fitted with a quartz movement and equipped with a choice of three sophisticated and finely detailed dials. Roman numerals surrounding a guilloché natural mother-of-pearl dial center for the most sober version; or applied steel indexes and diamonds around a hearts guilloché pattern on a natural mother-of-pearl dial center for the other two versions. All versions are available on a steel bracelet and a selection of colored satin straps.

In support of the introduction of the Frédérique Constant Junior Ladies range, the brand will launch a dedicated advertising campaign featuring the talented Alessia Lenders. Now 15 years of age, Alessia grew up in Paris, New York and London and perfectly embodies the values and aspirations of the Frédérique Constant brand. She has worked closely together with the Frederique Constant Communication Team to develop a beautiful campaign that will speak to Alessia's peers.

Without a doubt, this Spring, the new Junior Ladies Collection by Frederique Constant will become the 'It' accessory for refined and elegant young girls around the globe!

Frédérique Constant Amour Heartbeat ShuQiJanuary 2011 – Geneva

Frédérique Constant Genève is proud to introduce its new Amour Ladies Automatic Collection designed by ShuQi, the famous Taiwanese-born movie star & glamorous personality, who has been the Frédérique Constant Brand Ambassador for Greater China since 2008. [[MORE]]Through the advertising campaign for Ladies, ShuQi has already actively supported Frédérique Constant charity campaigns in China with the Paint a Smile Foundation and Beijing Children’s Hospital.

As a truly passionate Ambassador, ShuQi chose to make an even greater contribution to our charity campaign, by creating in close collaboration with the designers of our Geneva Manufacture, her very own range of timepieces: the new Amour Heart Beat Automatic. ShuQi's recent visit to the Frederique Constant workshops in Geneva to settle the final details of this new collection, formed a great opportunity for a photoshoot, which will promote her new collection in Greater China and around the world. The magnificent mountainous Geneva region served as the perfect backdrop. Very soon, the new ShuQi campaign will be released.

ShuQi_at_the Frederique_Constant_Manufacture_in Geneva_7_SMClassic yet elegant, feminine and sophisticated, the new Frédérique Constant Amour Heart Beat timepieces designed by ShuQi were developed with passion, to reflect all the values and aspirations of today’s women. With a gently rounded and comfortable case of 34mm diameter, either in stainless steel or in rose gold plated, these new models have a fine decorated dial with a subtle heart-shaped guilloché decoration in the center and a mother of pearl outer ring finishing. Available in opaline white, sweet vanilla or gourmet chocolate, the dial features a charmingly written 'Amour' decoration with iconic diamond-set heart-shaped opening at 12 o’clock, which reveals the beating of the balance of the movement. This highly decorated automatic calibre will seduce women appreciating fine Swiss watchmaking art.

As with the entire Ladies Heart Beat Collection, for every Amour Heart Beat watch sold, Frédérique Constant donates the cost of a life-saving heart scan to the International Children's Heart Foundation.

Frédérique Constant is delighted with the commitment of ShuQi to this unique project and –for the well-being of as many children as possible- wishes 'Fu' (Chinese for 'good luck') to this new collection!

Frédérique Constant is delighted to introduce its new Manufacture timepiece for women: the “Maxime Manufacture Lady”. A watch as technical as it is elegant.[[MORE]]

Continuing down the road of developing Manufacture calibers, bringing the creation and production of the watch movements in-house, Frédérique Constant presented the new Maxime Manufacture Automatic range during BaselWorld 2009. A series of watches conceived in-house, with passion and eye-for-detail.

As a result of the fruitful marriage of technical excellence and outstanding contemporary design of the first Maxime, Frédérique Constant took the bold step of expanding the range with the Maxime Manufacture Lady, especially designed for the modern woman. Today’s woman desires above all an elegance that demonstrates a return to real values, and Frédérique Constant is at the forefront of this movement. The new Maxime Manufacture Lady is a watch that will not just match, but surpass, their expectations.

The Maxime Manufacture Lady comes in several versions, including the use of rose gold bezel set with 52 diamonds. Using fine mother-of-pearl for the dial, the timepiece also has diamond indexes and a central finely decorated “sunray” guilloché pattern. A chic Galuchat strap completes the picture of elegance.

Donation to ICHF

Geneva, June 12th 2008: Frédérique Constant donates a cheque of 50’000.00 CHF to the International Children’s Heart Foundation through its International Charity Advertising Campaign
In 2007, Frédérique Constant’s new advertising campaign for its ladies Double Heart Beat Watch Collection helped to cure children with heart malfunctions. Featured personalities will put their celebrity and passion at the service of the new campaign. For each watch sold, Frédérique Constant donated the cost of a life-saving heart scan to the International Children’s Heart Foundation. This is on June, 12th, during the second Ceremony of the Passion Awards, which was held in the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices in Geneva, that Frédérique Constant decided to donate to the last year winner of the Passion Awards non-profit prize, Dr. William Novick, founder of the foundation, the totality of the donations gathered through the Charity Advertsing campaign.

Passion
Frédérique Constant timepieces are created with passion. Indeed, passion is the driver of our company’s success. With its slogan ‘Live your Passion’, we aim to attract customers who have a passion to succeed. With this new campaign, we wanted to share our passion and values by further contributing to charitable organizations.

The International Children’s Heart Foundation
The International Children’s Heart Foundation is a medical charity dedicated to providing free pediatric cardiac surgery to needy children throughout the world. To date, the foundation’s medical teams have provided life-saving heart surgery to almost 3000 children with congenital heart defects in 20 different countries. The foundation also aims to educate physicians, nurses and technicians in these countries – so that they may provide improved pediatric cardiac care to their own children in the future. The foundation was created in 1994 by Dr. William M.Novick. Dr Novick is also the co-winner of the Frédérique Constant Passion Award for 2007. More information: www.babyheart.org

Spotlight one our new home-page: Live your passion!

Genève June 24th, 2008: Frédérique Constant launched a redesigned home-page for frederique-constant.com. We explain the thinking behind the changes.[[MORE]]

Those of you who were familiar with (and even fond of) the previous version of the home-page will naturally wonder: why the change? We wanted to do three main things – make the pages simpler, deeper and more enjoyable for the reader. First, simplicity. The new page has a more consistent and clear layout. It is set-up as an online Newspaper page with headers and small introduction texts. The page is cleaner, with images that stand out more clearly to flag featured content. The main  navigation that runs down the left-hand side of the page, and throughout the site, is now completely visible right away, with no need to scroll down “below the fold”. By selection of a main category of content you can reveal more detailed sub-categories.

A second aim was to make the collection more readily accessible – strange as it may sound, to combine greater simplicity with greater depth. The collection can now be viewed in five main categories: “All Models”, “New Models”, “Men’s Models”, “Ladies Models” and “Pair Watches”. Via a special watch search function, customers can make a selection based on their individual preferences. Extensive details on the specification of each watch are available, as well as and an extra large picture. Selected models in the collection can be rotated 360°.

Our third aim was to make the page a more enjoyable experience. It shows not just extensive information on Frédérique Constant, but also more general information about watch making. Latest articles are randomly displayed on the home-page to make it come “alive”, so it will be worth returning to more often. Already ten short film features can viewed on the site. Last, but not least, the new site is available in 11 languages, enabling the majority of readers in the world to obtain information in their own language.
