1966 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII Frederique Constant @ Pikes Peak Hill Climb race


Frederique Constant Genève recently sponsored a 1966 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII driven by Richard J. (Jim) Hockert for the Austin Healey Conclave event in Colorado, USA.


[[MORE]] Check out the pictures of this competition Austin Healey prepared for the well known Pikes Peak Hill Climb race which is a tie-in to the Conclave. also known as The Race to the Clouds, the PPIHC is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. Competitors run a distance of 19.99 km (12.42 miles) over 156 turns, climbing 1,439 meters (4,721 ft) from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway at 2,862 meters (9,390 ft) on grades averaging 7% over both gravel and paved sections.

Frédérique Constant has been the annual Official Timing Partner of Healey events around the globe since 2004, such as the Second European Healey Meeting in St. Moritz, the Healey Le Mans Challenge, the Healey Challenge Heidelberg, the 34th International Austin Healey Challenge 2009, organized by the Austin Healey Clubs of America and Canada, the




John Healey Memorial International Meet organized in 2010 in the United Kingdom.

To celebrate the continuing cooperation with the Austin Healey Owner Clubs around the world, Frédérique Constant introduced in 2010 two new limited editions of its iconic Healey Chrono-Automatic, limited to 1’888 pieces in each version. The hand-polished, rounded case with a diameter of 43mm comes in two different finishing: elegant with a rose gold plated case, chocolate dial and leather strap, and more sporty in a steel case, silver dial with green accents and brown leather strap.

Frederique Constant Charity Event in Hong Kong Benefiting Children’s Heart Foundation - ShuQi, Qinnie Chan and Cyrus Chow joined hand to raise fund

Swiss Luxury Watch Brand Frederique Constant had held an event in Hong Kong at the atrium of The One in Tsimshatsui, benefiting Children’s Heart Foundation, a non-profit organization that devotes to support children suffering from congenital heart disease and their families. On 6th August 2011, Frederique Constant  exhibited the winning pieces of the ”Design your own clock” competition jointly held by Frederique Constant and Children’s Heart Foundation today and tomorrow.

ShuQi, the internationally acclaimed Chinese actress and brand ambassador of Frederique Constant, joined together with top model Qinnie Chan, local socialite Vivien Chong, Chairlady of Children’s Heart Foundation Jenny Cheng and General Manager of Frederique Constant Dora Ho in the charity sale event to raise fund for Children’s Heart Foundation.


At the event, Shuqi shared her valuable experience representing Frederique Constant to  visit the children at the Beijing Children’s Hospital Cardiology Department, “The kids are strong and brave; every one of them is determined to live happily. Everyday their heart-touching smiles bring endless happiness and laughter to others. We really should learn from them.”


A group of young designers who won the competition ”Be your own clock” jointly held by Frederique Constant and Children’s Heart Foundation earlier, worked with Shuqi to design a watch dial. The colorful design gained rousing cheers and appreciation from the public.


About Children’s Heart Foundation


Children’s Heart Foundation was set up in 1994 by a group of concerned parents and volunteers. It was founded as a registered charitable organisation devoted to supporting children suffering from congenital heart disease and their families. The CHF has its office located a just a few minutes walk from the Queen Mary Hospital which is the main centre for the treatment of pediatric heart disease in Hong Kong. The Hospital provides full support to the Children's




Heart Foundation and cooperates closely with us on all our work for children with heart disease. The CHF provide wise range of service like financial support for treatment; purchasing medical equipment; counseling service, arranging oversea surgeons to come to Hong Kong; overnight accommodation for parents of the hospitalised children; and organising regular educational, developmental and supporting programmes etc.
