Two companies specializing in refined products that are an expression of pure passion –exclusive cigars and luxury wristwatches- have jointly developed two exceptional watches that reflect the style and atmosphere of the Cohiba brand.

With its smooth case inspired by ‘Toro’ shaped cigars, the warm, ivory colored dial, the tobacco brown Roman numerals and the hand-sewn tobacco brown Crococalf strap, these watches form a tribute to the high-profile cigar brand that achieved ‘cult’ status under discerning connoisseurs the world over.

Presented in a luxurious giftbox that doubles as a humidor, and produced in a very limited edition of 188 numbered pieces in steel and 188 pieces in rose gold plated, these watches are already ‘smoking hot’ before their launch!

Frederique Constant and Cohiba will be launching these exclusive timepieces during a dedicated event on September 22nd, 2010 at Club Macanudo in New York City.  In the setting of New York City's premier cigar bar, restaurant and lounge, VIP guests will discover for the first time the result of this exciting and unique partnership.

More about Cohiba:
Five centuries after Christopher Columbus heard the word Cohiba for the first time in the Dominican Republic, a Cohiba cigar was developed in the same country by Diaz y Cia in 1978. The Dominican Cohiba cigar, which was reformulated in the 1990s, is the only Cohiba cigar that can be purchased legally in the United States. This limited edition set is the result of a cooperation is between Frederique Constant SA & General Cigar Company Inc., the largest cigar company in the USA.

  1. Got really excited looking at this as a potential gift for my father's 65th/retirement next year, a combination of something professional (watch) with leisure (cigars) as a subtle symbolism. Was looking great all the way up to the "US only" part. Any chance we can get something equivalent for the EU market? Without the embargo on real Cuban cigars there is a real possibility of making something truly worthwhile!
